Theme "Corruption and Good Governance": Event No. 1

Law Soc is going to kick-start activities based on the theme for this trimester-

"Corruption and Good Governance"- with a movie-screening!

What: 'Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro', which is a satire on the wide spread corruption

in politics, business and bureaucracy in India. Starring Naseeruddin Shah,

Ravi Baswani, Om Puri, Pankaj Kapur, Satish Shah and Bhakti Barve.

When: The screening will take place at 5:00 PM on Thursday, April 7, 2011.

Where: Fourth year classroom.

What: Screening of “Domestic Workers- Work Like Any Other, Work Like No Other”, a documentary by Deepika Kinhal, Ramya Shankar and Jayanth V.
