Volunteering and Other Opportunities
1. Enable India is looking for a volunteer to help with proof-reading a life skills manual. If you're interested, please contact them directly with the contact information on their website.
2. Dream A Dream is looking for people to volunteer as mentors to youth who are experiencing trouble or need encouragement and support. Volunteers are required from Jan 2011 onwards. 1.
ACSEE - The Asian Conference on Sustainability, Energy and the Environment 2011 will be held from 2 to 5 June 2011 in
Osaka, Japan. The deadline for abstracts/proposals is 01 February 2011.
2. 1st Global Conference Images of Whiteness - Exploring Critical Issues will be held on Tuesday 12th – Thursday 14th July 2011 at Mansfield College, Oxford, United Kingdom. 300 word abstracts should be submitted by Friday 14th January 2011
3. The 5th Global Conference on Visual Literacies will be held from  Friday 8th July – Sunday 10th July 2011 at Mansfield College, Oxford. 300 word abstracts should be submitted by Friday 14th January 2011.
4. The 10th Global Conference Environmental Justice and Global Citizenship will be held from Friday 8th July – Sunday 10th July 2011 at Mansfield College, Oxford. 300 word abstracts should be submitted by Friday 14th January 2011.
